Strawberry Ice Cream



2 lbs. fresh strawberries, washed, cut and pressed
1 3/4 cups sugar
3 cups milk
3 cups heavy cream
2 Tbs vanilla
1/4 tsp salt

In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs until foamy. Gradually add sugar and beat until thickened.  Add milk, cream, strawberries, vanilla and salt.  Mix well and chill.  Churn-freeze in an ice cream maker.
